EsSalud specified that the link “EsSalud takes care of you” seeks to update the data of the insured who will soon be vaccinated against the covid-19 coronavirus.
In a press release, Social Security explains that the information that policyholders must provide are full names, ID, email, cell phone number and especially address where you currently reside.
“This will serve to contribute to a better organization for the application of the vaccine,” says the entity when asking the insured to be careful with false links.
It also warns that policyholders should not provide financial information, passwords, or security codes; they should only reveal basic information such as names, address, a reference telephone number and identify the district, department and province where they live.
This data update -adds EsSalud- it is not a registration of persons for vaccination; The information that the insured provides will serve Social Security as support in the process of initiating the vaccination, since it will facilitate the identification of the places where the insured are located for the adequate distribution of the doses to the vaccination sites in different districts.
The updated data will be kept in the EsSalud database until the vaccination of insured older adults begins, which number 1 million 701 thousand 39 people over 60 years of age.
How to update the data?
The president of EsSalud, Fiorella Molinelli, presented the system the day before, recalling that the insured will be immunized considering the phases defined by the Ministry of Health (Minsa) for this process at the national level.
“Help us update your data and better organize ourselves for the application of the vaccine,” wrote the head of Health on her Twitter account where she provides guidelines for such registration.
