Essam Abdel Fattah: Do not attach your losses to arbitration

Essam Abdel-Fattah, head of the referees committee of the Egyptian Football Association, resolved the controversy that arose about the validity of Al-Ahly’s victory over Enppi at the deadly time of the match that ended 2-1 in the Egyptian Premier League yesterday, Saturday.

Issam Abdel-Fattah said, in telephone statements to the “Remontada” program via the “Al-Mehwar” channel: “Al-Ahly’s second goal against Enppi is correct, because the ball was the one that preceded the player whose infiltration was suspected, and therefore he was in a sound position.”

He added: “Some said that drawing the intrusion lines was wrong during the review via video technology, and they questioned the people’s guilt and conscience.”

He continued: “There are those who say that Enppi lost against Al-Ahly by an active act, (No, sir, you are the wrong one, keep your fault on the field), do not attach your losses to the arbitration peg.”

He continued: “People were agitated by me personally after the statement of the spirit of the protocol after the Al-Ahly match and Al-Ahly Bank. I said the spirit of the law because justice is what the football law is built on. Justice is reached by any way.”

And the head of the referees committee concluded, saying: “The containment statements of referee Mohamed Adel after the Al-Ahly and Zamalek match were mocked by some as well, although there is a lecture called “containment” that we study for the referees, Mohamed Adel was managing the summit in a distinguished manner.
