“Every time I see their happy faces, I realize why I have to fight as hard as I can”

Victoria Baillon, 37, from Hazlemere, Buckinghamshire, is battling to prolong her life with stage 4 cancer so she can have more time with her two children, Austin, eight, and Eva, six.

“My children are my whole world, I adore them so much”, she testifies to the Mirror. “Every time I see their happy faces, they make me feel so loved and I realize why I have to fight as hard as I can and stay determined. »

The mother-of-two was first diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer in November 2020, where she underwent a mastectomy. Then Victoria’s health deteriorated when metastases in other parts of her body such as her neck, spine, liver and lungs.

“They cannot be left without their mum, I care about them and love them so much and I beg you from the bottom of my heart to give everything to have them with me for as long as possible,” she said in a call on Instagram. Victoria’s friends have organized a fundraiser to enable her to undergo treatment which is not offered in the UK. They have currently raised almost 32,000 euros out of 90,000 euros.
