Ford of Europe President Stuart Rowley emphasized that Sander brought “the dynamism, leadership and ideas that are important to accelerate the transformation of our car business in Europe and to enable our customers to create new connected experiences”.

Two previous management positions will be combined in Sander’s area of ​​responsibility. This underscores Ford’s commitment to advance the electrification of its European product range even faster, the company emphasized.

Employed at Volkswagen for a long time

Sander will start his new role on June 1st and will have his office in Cologne. The manager, who was born in Hildesheim, studied mechanical engineering and graduated from the Technical University of Braunschweig with a degree in engineering.
