Ex-partner from Cosculluela files complaint for violation of protection order

The ex-partner of the urban music singer, José Fernando Cosculluela Suárez, accused of gender violence, filed a complaint on Tuesday for violation of a protection order related to expressions published on his social networks by which he felt alluded to.

According to the document, on January 17 at 3:00 p.m., the complainant alleged that she saw on the Twitter social network that Cosculluela Suárez wrote a message that read: “You are one of those who bills… bills me At the end of the month, everything up to the toothpaste”, referring to a phrase from the song by the Colombian Shakira and BZRP dedicated to her ex-partner Gerard Piqué.

The complainant understands that the message was addressed to her person.

The case will be consulted with the prosecutor Daniel Feliciano, by the municipal police officer of Humacao, Gilberto Carrión, to assess whether the elements of the crime exist. The preliminary hearing of the original case is scheduled for February 15.

On October 14, 2022, Judge Carlos Capó, of the Humacao Court, found cause for the arrest of Cosculluela Suárez for 13 counts of mistreatment under Law 54 for the Prevention and Intervention with Domestic Violence and two counts of violations of the Law de Armas, due to a complaint filed by his ex-wife, Jennifer Fungenzi Jaques. The artist was released under electronic supervision in a shackle by posting $240,000 bail.

By the time the charges were filed, the Justice Department had revealed that the pattern of abuse that his ex-wife denounced began in 2017 and lasted until 2022.

The businesswoman filed the complaint after that early morning, in front of her residence in the Palmas del Mar urbanization in Humacao, two buses – hers and a friend’s – were burned, of the 2020 Range Rover brand and 2017 Lexus NX 200t , which were declared a total loss for an estimated combined value of $185,000.

No charges have been filed against any person for these events.
