F1: Lewis Hamilton rebels against ban on accessories “Next time I’ll wear four watches”[F1-Gate .com]

Lewis Hamilton of Mercedes F1 is rebellious against the FIA’s move to ban accessories.

Prior to the first Grand Prix of Miami, F1 race director Niels Witzig urged the F1 team to submit a scrutiny sheet, tightening the crackdown on accessory bans and wearing fireproof underwear in the cockpit.

But seven-time F1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton attends the official FIA press conference wearing as much jewelery as possible in protest of the new F1 ban.

Sebastian Vettel also protests the crackdown on fireproof underwear by layering underwear on top of the Aston Martin F1 team’s racing suit. He admits that even Kevin Magnussen is concerned.

“It feels weird if you don’t wear a wedding ring in your car,” said Kevin Magnussen.

However, Lewis Hamilton, who threatened to boycott the Grand Prix of Miami on Sunday, eventually gained two races on certain piercings.

But Lewis Hamilton says he won’t remove his nose piercings.

“I got an exemption here. I’m exempt for the rest of the year,” Lewis Hamilton said.

“Wedding rings are also allowed”

“There is no doubt that we will continue to discuss this topic.”

“Next time, I’ll wear four watches.”

But the biggest problem for Lewis Hamilton is the lack of competitiveness of the W13, which suffers from popping problems.

Teammate George Russell said, “There are things we overlook to make the car more stable,” George Russell said.

“It’s definitely a fast car. We haven’t been able to make it work. We don’t know when it will happen. We’re doing our best.”
