For Manuel Neuer’s representative, FC Bayern will soon need a new replacement!
Alexander Nübel is dissatisfied with his short playing time in Munich (only two competitive games) and plans to borrow in the coming season. Especially when his status as permanent reservist will not change and his assigned assignments will not be given to him.
Flick gives Nübel little hope of playing time
Hansi Flick gave him little hope of recovery on Friday. On the one hand, the number two debate has bothered him since day one and he was not directly involved in the Nübel transfer, but rather his predecessor Niko Kovac.
On the other hand, the Bayern coach said clearly before the top game against Borussia Dortmund: “Alexander knew what he was getting into when he comes to Bayern. My job as a coach is to let the players play who are currently the best are. Manuel Neuer is the clear number one. ” (Bundesliga: FC Bayern – Borussia Dortmund, Sat. from 6.30 p.m. in LIVETICKER)
In other words: Nübel remains the clear number two. If the ex-Schalke leaves, Bayern would need a replacement!
The requirement profile seems clear and is particularly similar to Sven Ulreich, who almost had to change due to the Nübel commitment and joined Hamburger SV. The possible new new representative must be reliable, experienced and loyal, and in the best case may not cost too much.

Kahn watches Ortega
One candidate who could be interesting based on the profile is Stefan Ortega. The contract of the 28-year-old goalkeeper from Arminia Bielefeld expires in 2022. If the East Westphalia descend, Ortega will not be able to be held.
Interesting: After SPORT1-Information, of all people, board member Oliver Kahn has a very positive opinion of Ortega and has observed him at 3: 3 between Bayern and Arminia on matchday 21 exactly. (Everything about the Bundesliga)
What Kahn saw: Like Neuer, Ortega was communicative, played offensively and helped build his team with clean passes. In any case, the multiple world goalkeeper also knows that Ortega is currently the best goalkeeper in the league when it comes to blocked shots on goal.
However, no talks have taken place between Bayern and Bielefeld, especially since a prompt Nübel decision is not to be expected. (Bundesliga table)
Will Bavaria lend a hand at Ortega if Nübel goes?
When asked whether the number two in the Bayern goal would be interesting for him at all, Ortega last said in the SPORT1-Interview: “For me, match practice will remain the most important, because I enjoy playing too much. But it is also clear that FC Bayern have a different collar size. There you experience things that you normally do not experience elsewhere.”
Ortega was already in great demand last summer. However, he turned down offers from Bayer Leverkusen, PSV Eindhoven and Ajax Amsterdam. Ortega’s reasoning: “It doesn’t do me any good to sit on the bench. Just to earn a few more talers. I really wanted to play in the Bundesliga with Arminia Bielefeld.”
His big dream: “I would like to establish myself in the Bundesliga and, if possible, play again internationally at some point. It will be difficult, but it is not impossible.”
