FIFA invokes Sfaxian officials to investigate Al-Ahly’s complaint because of Ajay

Tunisian press reports revealed that the FIFA has summoned officials from the Tunisian club Sfaxien to attend a hearing at the headquarters of the International Federation in Zurich from February 24 to 29, due to the complaint submitted by Al-Ahly against the Tunisian club because of the Nigerian Junior Ajay.

Al-Ahly submitted a complaint to FIFA after contracting with the Nigerian striker from Sfaxien in the summer of 2016, where he confirmed in his complaint that he had paid 125,000 euros to the Nigerian club Lyon, who played for him Ajay before his transfer to the Tunisian team, and Al-Ahly submitted documents confirming that he had paid the amount after Lyon submitted A complaint against Al-Ahly.

The Tunisian news website pointed out that Sfaxien is required to pay 400,000 Tunisian dinars, equivalent to 130,000 euros, in 5 installments to the Nigerian Lyon, in addition to delaying fines, otherwise he will be subjected to severe penalties and deduction of points from his balance in the local league.

Sfaxien is third in the Tunisian league table with 28 points, after 14 rounds of the competition’s age have passed.
