FIFA The Best 2022 awards results: FIFA Best Award goes to Robert Lewandowski

Zurich: Bayern striker Robert Lewandowski has won the FIFA World’s Best 2022 Awards, presented by FIFA. The award was announced at a ceremony at FIFA headquarters in Zurich. Lewandowski, who is second only to Messi and Mbabane at the Balandior and Globe Soccer Awards respectively, has finally been relieved of the FIFA award.

Lionel Messi, Robert Lewandowski and Mohamed Salah competed for the FIFA World Player of the Year award last year. The Best Football Award is given by the International Federation of Football Associations for its performance in matches between October 8, 2020 and August 7, 2021.

The best player was chosen by a vote of national team coaches, captains, fans and sports correspondents. Lewandowski won the award with 48 points on the basis of all votes cast. Messi topped the fan vote but Lewandowski topped the national coaches, captains and media vote.

Alexei Putellas, a Spanish and Barcelona player, won the FIFA World Player of the Year award. Argentina’s Erik Lamela wins the Puskas Award for Best Goal of 2021. A goal against Arsenal in the Premier League put Lamela in the last three. Senegal international Chelsea goalkeeper Edward Menti has won the Best Goalkeeper award. The Women’s Award in this category goes to some athlete and Olympic Lyon goalkeeper, Christina Enteler. Chelsea coach Thomas Tuchel has won the FIFA World Player of the Year award.
