World Cup ticket booking started yesterday. After 24 hours, 12 lakh tickets were booked. Ticket booking started on Wednesday afternoon. Qatar has the highest number of ticket bookings. But India has also arrived soon after. It is followed by Argentina, Mexico, USA, UAE, England, India, Saudi Arabia, Brazil and France.
Tickets can be booked through FIFA’s official website. Tickets can be booked at the site from January 19 to February 8. The link is Fifa.com/tickets. This is the lowest ticket price in the 30 – year history of the World Cup. In addition, the 2022 Qatar World Cup has many special features.

Tickets costing 40 Qatari riyals (819 Indian rupees) will be available to locals and foreigners in Qatar to host the World Cup. The inauguration will take place on November 21 at Al Bayt Stadium. The finals will be played on December 18 at Lucille Stadium. The second phase of ticket booking will start on April 1, 2022, following the tournament draw.
