Al-Ahly announced the renewal of its player Saad Eddin Samir contract for 3 seasons to come.
Amir Tawfiq, the club’s contract manager, announced the news of the renewal, in conjunction with Mohamed El-Shinnawy team goalkeeper renewed for 5 seasons.
Amir Tawfiq stated: “The renewal of the duo contract comes as part of an integrated plan to maintain the strength of the team and support it with its needs, according to the vision of the technical staff in coordination with Mahmoud Al-Khatib and the Football Committee.”
Amir Tawfiq explained: “The renewal did not take time and there was a quick response and appreciation of the club’s desire.”
He continued: “Saad Samir set the example and role model in devotion to the club, especially as he was not listed on the team’s list of the circumstances of the injury sustained, but his position was very positive, and he did not wave anything negative.”
He continued: “He was happy with the club’s decision and was cooperating to the maximum degree possible and agreeing on the terms of his contract did not take a few minutes, and he welcomed the offer presented with the club without conditions.”
Saad Samir, 31, is a native of Al-Ahly and has played 125 shirt appearances in the Egyptian League.
Saad Samir suffered from a knee injury, then an Achilles tendon injury, which kept him out of the Al-Ahly list for many months.
