Yesterday, Square Enix shared a live stream with Sony as part of the live stream zur PlayStation State of Play introduced a PS5 version of “Final Fantasy VII Remake”. Anyone who has already bought the PS4 version receives the version for the PlayStation 5 as a free upgrade and can also keep their saved games. The so-called “Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade” is due to appear on June 10, 2021.
Then you can also purchase the game directly for the PS5. It promises improved graphics through new lighting and fog effects as well as sharper textures. There will also be two graphics modes. The performance mode uses 60 fps and reduces the resolution, the 4K mode focuses on native 4K. The haptic feedback of the DualSense is also included. Also on board is a new level of difficulty and the photo mode, which is probably mandatory nowadays.
Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade also includes new story content that revolves around Yuffie Kisaragi. New buyers get that too. However, if you upgrade from the PS4 version, you have to pay for the additional content. What price Square Enix wants to announce is open.
