[Beijing, 26th Archyde.com]–The China National Health and Health Commission announced on the 26th that the transmission of H3N8 avian influenza to humans was confirmed for the first time.

A 4-year-old boy in Henan Province had a fever on the 5th of this month, and an infection was confirmed when he was examined. The risk of large-scale outbreaks is low, as no infections have been confirmed in close contacts with boys and the virus appears to be virtually infectious to humans.

According to the committee, chickens and other animals were bred at the boy’s house, and the boy was in contact with them.

There are many types of avian influenza virus in China, and humans who work in contact with birds are occasionally infected. The country is said to have an enormous number of edible birds and wild birds, making it an “ideal environment” for the avian influenza virus to mix and mutate.
