Footage of one of Kirby’s canceled GameCube games appears

More than a decade ago, on the occasion of the launch of Kirby’s Adventure for Wii, the development team at HAL Laboratory and Satoru Iwata unveiled three sets of Kirby that were never released. “The second was an experiment with an extremely complicated game form in which Kirby appeared in a 3D space where players could move freely. Unfortunately, we didn’t get the quality we were aiming for, so we never finished it,” explains Kawase. “And the third one was about an animated Kirby. He was kind of book whose images jumped when opening the page. We refresh the skills and try to give them more power. We have spent eleven years picking up and dropping these three games again.”
