A consultant cardiologist and catheter, Dr. Khaled Al-Nimr, warned of a common mistake made by many who take cholesterol medication.

And he said in a tweet on “Twitter”, that stopping cholesterol medication on the patient’s own initiative contributes to the occurrence of a stroke.

It is possible to control high cholesterol and improve its levels in the blood by adhering to the following

1- Eat small amounts of fat and focus on healthy fats.

2- Reducing sugar intake.

3- Eat more fiber.

4- Doing sports.

5- Quit smoking.
