The management of Ford Almussafes has presented to the unions an Employment Regulation File (ERE) that would affect 400 workers before the production decline in the Valencian factory, which the company figures in one hundred cars less daily.
This has been explained by the UGT, CGT, STM and CCOO unions, after a meeting held with the management of the company held on Tuesday to discuss the ‘Ford Almussafes situation’ point. Company sources have confirmed to Europa Press that negotiations have been opened for an extinct ERE that could affect 400 people.
The unions explain that the company has transferred that the production decline “is not temporary” and will remain in time, so it estimates that there will be a “surplus of staff”, which amounts to about 400 people. .
