[Tokyo 8th Archyde.com]–The Bank of Japan’s governor, Haruhiko Kuroda, announced his comments on the night of the 8th following the death of former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. “I’m really sorry,” he said. “In the economic arena, we have made great strides in breaking away from long-standing deflation and achieving sustainable economic growth.” He said he would like to pay tribute to the development of the Japanese economy with strong leadership.
In March 2013, after the inauguration of the second Abe administration, Mr. Kuroda took office as the governor of the Bank of Japan and promoted another dimension of monetary easing with the aim of overcoming deflation.
