France progresses in the medal table thanks to the coronation of Papadakis and Cizeron

France continues its rise in the medal table. The day after a very beautiful day which had consecrated the talent and supremacy of Quentin Fillon Mailletquadruple medalist in Beijing in biathlon, ice artists Gabriella Papadakis and Guillaume Cizeron were crowned Olympic champions in ice dancing on Monday. A new gold medal, the third for France, which allows the tricolor clan to overtake Switzerland, just behind the Russian Olympic Committee, which has four Olympic titles and a much higher number of medals (18).

Movement in the top 5

The top of the standings is still occupied by Norway, ahead of Germany and the United States, which won three new medals, including one gold.
