The minister said that vaccination “saves lives”, stressing that “as an emergency doctor, he witnessed many deaths that could have been avoided.”
He stressed that lifting the exceptional measures that were imposed during the crisis does not mean that the Covid pandemic is over, stressing the “necessity to keep some tools” provided for in the draft law.
The minister explained that this text “is not a legitimate state of emergency,” noting that it “contains the minimum but necessary measures that will enable us to monitor the epidemic after July 31 in order to protect the French.”
