Franck Gastambide is the hero of a feature film released on Netflix “Without respite” which he is currently promoting. If he doesn’t really close the door to a season 3 of “Validated”the actor-director wants to do something else for the moment, just to breathe a little. Guest of the show “C à vous” on France 5, we asked him which rapper he would like to invite since almost all French rap. The actor then allowed himself to dream and gave the name of Slim Shady. We don’t think it will happen since Eminem measures his public appearances and he seems resolutely untouchable, but we also know that anything is possible so Franck Gastambide has the right to dream!
But before tackling (or not) a third season of “Validated”, the former “Kaïra” wants to find a rhythm that gives her a little more time. He does not want to return to the long tunnel that constitutes the adventure of a series.
“It’s special because obviously, when a success is so big, it calls for a sequel. I just discovered what the world of the series is. To spend three years doing just that, not being able to act or do anything else. Fortunately it works like that and it has become this little phenomenon otherwise I would have been very sad to spend so much time on a project that didn’t work. It’s very vampirizing, I write, I direct, I play, I produce, obviously I’m with a great team around me… For now, I have to go do something else.”
And if ever the urge took him to shoot “Validated season 3”, he begins to dream after seeing, like all of us, the wonderful halftime show of the last Superbowl with Dr. Dre and consorts as he explained in the program “Télématin” when asked his opinion on the Superbowl.
“If we can fantasize? The greatest rapper in the world, Eminem ! Obviously ! I only woke up [pour le show] to see what happened with Dr Dre and Snoop Dog, it was amazing.”
It seems difficult to do but we wish him to succeed, it would make “Validated” even more incredible! Otherwise, he can always come to Generations…
