More and more event organizers want an eco-friendly solution for their food stands. But suppliers can no longer keep up. This poses a problem, for example, in Neuchâtel, where practice is compulsory.

The companies in Romandie that offer crockery for hire are working tirelessly: while more and more event organizers are turning to this ecological solution, they can no longer meet demand and things are not going well. Arrange during the summer period, which concentrates a maximum of parties, festivals and other events, reported the RTS last week.

But where the problem takes on the appearance of a real headache is when the use of reusable tableware is made compulsory by the authorities, as is the case in Neuchâtel. The City posted a warning on its website, warning that the provider it works with was no longer able to respond to new requests, RTN reports. It thus suggests that the organizers contact other crockery rental companies and specifies that cups in the colors of Neuchâtel cannot, of course, be offered.
