When the war begins in her country, Laith Alabdullah is 20 years old. Four years later, in June 2015, he left Syria and arrived in France.

He has not seen his country since. “I can love it by not thinking about it.” For the past four years, my memories have been in France, ”he explains. Laith Alabdullah became director of sustainable development for the city of Sevran (Seine-Saint-Denis), married and had a baby girl.
