This Thursday, October 22, Airbus announced the organization of an exceptional auction. From October 13 to 15, the European aeronautical group will put 380 batches of spare parts for its A380 aircraft on sale in Toulouse. The following will be offered for sale: portholes, seats, lights, food transport boxes and also works of art painted on the ends of the cabin.
From the bar of a business cabin to the outfit of the first pilot
Among the lots which should hold the attention of collectors, the orange jumpsuit worn during the first flight of the prototype by pilot Claude Lelaie on April 27, 2005, an original sketch of the layout of an A380 corporate jet cabin, or again the bar of a business cabin.
On the unusual side, we find a toilet seat, a luggage compartment, exit signs, an emergency ax, a cot… All the lots sold are available here: jour 1, jour 2, jour 3.
