González Cubillos was captured when he was leaving the premises of the Nilo police station (Cundinamarca), after he was prosecuted for the crime of bribery for giving or offering, for having offered money to a group of police officers who intercepted him on the road. that leads to Girardot (Cundinamarca). The charge was accepted.

According to the Prosecutor’s Office, in nine months of 2022, the Prosecutor’s Office made progress in clarifying 228 murders of children and adolescents, that is, 53% of the known cases. The entity created the National Working Group on Gender Violence to deal with crimes that affect women, children and adolescents, which came into operation in the second half of 2021.
