GACHI SEA is a band from the variety show “Kamai Gachi” where two Kamaitachi challenge various things. In the February broadcast of this year, Yamauchi, who loves LUNA SEA, planned to do something for LUNA SEA, which announced a temporary hiatus, and Ryuichi Hamaya, who is his partner.Tom Brown、JoymanShinya Takagi, and head drummerMayaand formed GACHI SEA, and performed “ROSIER” with respect for the original LUNA SEA.
GACHI SEA’s mission is to “practice hard” and master LUNA SEA’s popular song “TRUE BLUE” in two months, and perform it live at the Budokan. In “ROSIER” performed in February, Takagi in charge of bass and Nunokawa in charge of rhythm guitar were inexperienced with musical instruments, so everything except Yamauchi’s vocal part was performed in the air. Hamaya, who is in charge of lead guitar, has played an acoustic guitar before, but “TRUE BLUE” has a difficult guitar solo wall. GACHI SEA members took lessons and started practicing. She brought her instrument with her wherever she went and spent as much of her free time as possible practicing on her own.
