We also learn that CAF had held “an emergency meeting on Monday afternoon by videoconference with representatives of the Gabonese and Gambian federations to rule on the incident at the airport of Banjul in The Gambia ”.
The Gambia won on Monday November 16, 2020 face in Gabon, during the 4th day of qualifying for CAN 2022, 2-1.
With their victory, Gambia dominates Group D in equality on points with Gabon (7 points for each team). The Gambia is however ahead of Gabon thanks to the goal difference.
