The new STALKER game will feature unique walkthroughs. Details were disclosed by PR-manager of GSC Game World Zakhar Bocharov, reported on website Xbox.
Unlike previous games in the series, STALKER 2 will have a completely open world, not related locations. Mutants and NPCs will interact with each other, even in the absence of the player. Thanks to the A-Life 2.0 system, the Zone will look “changing and truly alive”.
The representative of the studio also noted that the creators of STALKER 2 understand the Zone around the Chernobyl nuclear power plant as an independent character in the series: “This is a dangerous place, with mutated creatures, deadly radiation and anomalous energy.”
According to Bocharov, each gamer will become the author of his own story, so each playthrough will be unique. “You will have to constantly make difficult choices – and be brave enough to face the consequences,” said a spokesman for GSC Game World. The game will have a complex branching storyline with multiple endings.
STALKER 2 first trailer was presented July 23rd. The game developers did not disclose the release date, but it is known that the new part of the series will be released on PC, Xbox Series X and will be available to Game Pass subscribers.
