Last week the price of diesel was trending down while unleaded increased sharply.
The price of a liter of diesel fell by 2.6 cents while that of unleaded 95/E10 petrol rose by nearly 9 cents last week (+8.8 cents exactly).
At 1.9386, the price of SP95 is approaching the fateful bar of 2 euros per liter, despite the government rebate of 15 cents, according to data from the Ministry of Ecological Transition as of May 20 and published on Monday.
On the downside since the previous week, diesel has meanwhile fallen by 2.6 cents on the territory to reach an average of 1.852 euros per liter.
The price of diesel has thus returned to its level of early March, while that of gasoline has had a fifth consecutive week of increase.
