PAmong these 11 infected people, there are 10 inmates and one employee, bringing the overall toll to 51 inmates, out of 55, and eight employees. A 56th detainee was released ten days ago.

For a rare time, the five RCMs of the peninsula and the municipality of Îles-de-la-Madeleine all have cases of infected people, including seven in Rocher-Percé, four cases each in Côte-de-Gaspé and Bonaventure, two cases each in Avignon and in the archipelago, as well as one case in Haute-Gaspésie.

No new cases were reported in the four accommodation facilities in the region characterized by active outbreaks, that is to say at Manoir Lady Maria, CHSLD de New Carlisle, Manoir Saint-Augustin de Gaspé and CHSLD Bishop Ross, also from Gaspé.

The 18 new healings in the region left 212 active cases there. There are also three fewer hospitalizations, for a balance of six.
