A first sentence of five months in prison for racial discrimination in 2020 will not have been enough for a Genevan, a follower of fascism. The man has just been sentenced to six months in prison for remarks made in a letter sent to four local politicians. In August 2021, he sent them a petition against a Holocaust memorial project in Geneva. He had attached an argument entitled “The Holocaust is a fraud”, a text questioning the Shoah.

According to “Geneva Stand”, the Holocaust denier also created a revisionist website at the beginning of the year. Interviewed by the police, he admitted having written these remarks and shared the content. The Intercommunity Coordination Against Anti-Semitism and Defamation said it welcomed the man’s conviction “with relief”.
