Rolf Eden was born on February 6, 1930 in Berlin. His Jewish family fled to Palestine with him in 1933. In 1948, he fought in an elite unit in the Israeli War of Independence. “Everyone hoped that he would survive. It didn’t traumatize me,” he said in an interview with the “Süddeutsche Zeitung” in 2012. In the early 1950s, Eden initially lived in Paris.

Rolf Eden lives out his private life very openly. He still likes to talk about his numerous women and sex in interviews. Kai Fischer, Evelyn Künneke, Barbara Valentin, Barbara Capell and Ingrid Steeger are said to have belonged to his love affairs. According to his own statements, he slept with around 1,000 women in his life. “But that’s not much, you have to divide it by 65 years,” he said in an interview with the “Süddeutsche Zeitung” in 2010. The women he meets are always around 30 years old. “When the friends turn 30, I always think: How do I get rid of them? I just love young, fresh bodies,” he explained.

Rolf Eden has seven children from seven women. He still had contact with all of them, he said. “We are a large family.” He doesn’t spend much money on himself, “but I pay 30,000 euros a month for my seven children and their mothers.” In the photo he can be seen with his son Alexander and daughter-in-law Anja.

After the fall of the wall, he sold his nightclubs – the last in 2002. In Berlin, however, he is still a well-known face with his Rolls-Royce and his bright suits. He still likes going out, as he emphasizes in many interviews: the Paris Bar in the heart of Berlin has been one of his favorite places for some years.

And if he dies, who will inherit his fortune? His family and his women. “Every now and then I change the will. Oh, and guaranteed, the woman who sleeps with me last gets 250,000 euros,” he told SZ.
