The Meteorological Authority issued a weather warning during the coming hours, noting that the country is exposed to a significant rise in temperatures today, Thursday, June 1.

And the Meteorological Authority indicated, in a statement, that the country is expected to witness very hot weather during the day on Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northern coasts, South Sinai and the south of the country, hot on the northeastern coasts of the country.

And the Meteorological Authority continued, that wind activity is expected on areas of the northeastern coasts that will be sandy and dusty on areas of the Western Desert, Greater Cairo, Al-Wajh Al-Bahri, the northwestern coasts, the Canal cities, the Gulf of Suez, and northern Upper Egypt, at intermittent intervals.

This is due to the country’s exposure to a heat wave during the coming days, indicating the presence of wind activity, with a speed ranging between 35 to 45 km, and it is windy and dusty, in most of the northern and desert regions.

Regarding rainfall, Manar Ghanem, a member of the Media Center at the Meteorological Authority, explained that there are chances of rain falling on the western border areas, some coastal areas and the governorates of Lower Egypt, noting that the chances of rain falling are low.
