Appointments must be made via the Clic Santé website or by telephone at 1-866-445-0601. Vaccination clinics will be held in our eight main sites as well as in some secondary sites as indicated in the table at the bottom of the article. The new vaccines are free and recommended for people at risk. At least 5,000 appointments have been made so far. Rapid COVID tests are also available directly from front-desk staff at many of the facilities.
“We are talking about people aged 60 and over who have reduced cardiovascular or respiratory diseases but also people who take care of health workers, natural caregivers, people who live under the same roof as the people we want. protect,” said Sylvain Leduc, director of public health for Bas-Saint-Laurent.
“Last year we vaccinated more than 40,000 people so we expect this year again a volume of 40,000 if not more other years have vaccinated around 35,000 so we think that this year it will be as popular again than last year,” commented Isabelle Ouellet, deputy director of vaccination operations at the CISSS du Bas-Saint-Laurent.
