Dakar, Feb 17 (APS) – Africa ” needs to join forces ” to improve its football, said FIFA President Gianni Infantino, received Wednesday in Dakar by Senegalese President Macky Sall.
“The African continent needs to unite its forces, rather than disperse, to divide,” he said, adding that Africa must “unite its forces and really work for to project African football to the top of world football ”.

The FIFA president said he had discussed Senegal’s football investments with Macky Sall.
He also revealed that he had exchanged with the Head of State on the projects and plans that FIFA intends to carry out in Senegal in conjunction with the Senegalese Football Federation.
According to him, Senegal needs major infrastructures like the Stade du Sénégal, under construction in Diamniadio (west).
