Luo Yijun pointed out that the CDC will continue to monitor whether the monkeypox epidemic is present in the country. If there is a related epidemic, it will not rule out the study of relevant epidemic prevention measures.
According to the CDC, human monkeypox is a rare zoonotic infectious disease. Human infections first appeared in Say, Africa in 1970. Since then, sporadic epidemics have occurred in tropical rainforest areas of Central and West African countries.
