GNB dismantles clandestine laboratory that packaged natural medicines without sanitary control

The Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) dismantled in San Félix, Bolívar state, a clandestine laboratory dedicated to illegally packaging and commercializing supposed natural medicines, without having sanitary controls and the proper permits.

The commander of Zone N ° 62, G / B Adolfo Rodríguez Cepeda, reported the arrest of two subjects who were in the preparation of medicines, refers to a press release from the said Zone Command.

Rodríguez Cepeda explained that soldiers from the Urban Security Detachment arrested Kellys José Méndez Martínez (39) and Ángel Antonio Delgado González (62) when they were traveling in a private Chevrolet vehicle, Optra model, for secretly transporting a large amount of supposed natural medicines in different sizes and presentations.

“Given the investigations, our sentries moved to a commercial premises located in the center of San Félix, in the Caroní municipality, where these citizens stored, made and packaged the alleged natural medicines, managing to seize a large number of bottles with Magnesium Chloride” , specified Rodríguez Cepeda.

They also found more than a thousand “glass and plastic containers of different sizes and colors, containing alleged natural medicine in syrup, hundreds of dropper containers of different colors, containing alleged natural medicine, more than 400 transparent ballots containing alleged natural cleansing in powder and capsules, 1,250 labels of different colors and presentations ”.

The procedure was notified to the Public Ministry (MP) of the state for the alleged commission of crimes that threaten public health.

The general urged the community to refrain from acquiring medicinal products in mobile places without health controls and permits.
