Ever since the title was revealed over two years ago, the unbearable wait for the release date has been an ordeal for PlayStation gamers. Before putting an end to it, Santa Monica Studio waited for many months and only decided last July to let go of the game with the gaming community. Fans of the series could finally see the end of the tunnel! Despite everything, the video game industry has had to face unprecedented difficulties linked to the pandemic, which has slowed down more than one development process. God of War: Ragnarök took its time but, according to the developers, Kratos and Atreus are well and truly ready to smash Norse deity and overcome Ragnarök.

In a message posted on Twitter, the developers proclaim loud and clear their gratitude to the fans of the first hour and their partners in this long journey, but that’s not all! It is also the means for them to declare that the title is “Gold” (meaning that it has reached the end of its development), to reiterate, not without pride, that the title will be available from November 9 and that they are at least as eager as PlayStation players to discover our feelings! No more doubt God of War : Ragnarok will illuminate these last months of 2022 and could even chill the competition.
