Cologne (SID) – Professional golf player Marcel Siem (Ratingen) once again proved his good form at the tournament in Crans Montana / Switzerland and celebrated his best result of the year on the European tour. The 41-year-old finished with a 68 on the par-70 course and finished seventh with 271 strokes. Former world number one Martin Kaymer (Mettmann) improved on Sunday with a strong 66 and 273 total hits to rank 18.
The tournament victory at the European Masters, endowed with two million euros, went to the Dane Rasmus Höjgaard after a 63 final round with 267 strokes. For the 20-year-old, it is already the third triumph on the European tour.
