O Google launched a long-lasting advertising campaign that uses the iPhone as the main supporting character, called #BestPhonesForever
.
In the latest video in this saga, the Mountain View giant makes reference to its resource Circle to Search (Circle to Search)initially launching on select Android smartphones, including the Pixels 8/8 Pro.
As you can see in the brief video above, the commercial shows the Pixel 8 Pro arriving in an environment with objects circulating on all sides. The iPhone then excitedly says that it had done this with a highlighter to search for things it wanted later — and the Pixel nods without much surprise.
About a month ago, Google released another campaign commercial that took advantage of the Super Bowl LVIII moment (whose Halftime Show is sponsored by Apple Music) to not only highlight the Circle to Search feature, but also other features powered by artificial intelligence that the iPhone doesn’t have it.
Taking into account that Apple is expected to announce new features in terms of AI this year, Google will not leave this campaign aside anytime soon…
