This Tuesday, July 5, starting at 9:00 am, the International Congress of Medicine and Sciences Applied to Sports will begin, in an installation ceremony that will be led by the Governor of Quindío, Roberto Jairo Jaramillo Cárdenas, at the Metropolitan Cultural Center of Conventions . The event, which will feature more than twenty national and international speakers and will run until Wednesday the 6th, will be held within the framework of the IX Copa América Femenina de Fútbol 2022.
The New Trends in Sports Medicine block is scheduled for the morning session, in which one of the most relevant figures of the congress will be present, Dr. José María Villalón, head of the medical services of the Atlético de Madrid club, with his paper “The influence of new technologies in sports medicine”. In the afternoon, the Influence of Nutrition in High Performance and Sports Injuries blocks will be taught.
