Queen: Corona vaccination didn’t hurt
The Queen is 94 years old and was vaccinated with her husband back in January. Now the British Queen reports from the spades.
The British Queen Elizabeth II (94) has felt protected against the coronavirus since she was vaccinated.
“As far as I can tell, it was pretty harmless,” said the Queen at a video conference with those responsible for the vaccination campaign in Britain. The monarch and her husband Prince Philip (99) were vaccinated on January 9th. “It didn’t hurt at all,” said the Queen. “It happened very quickly and I got a lot of letters from people who were very surprised at how easy it was to get the vaccine.”
Actually, information about the health of the royals is a private matter. With the announcement, the Queen wanted to put a stop to speculation and misinformation.
The Queen expressed her understanding that some people are afraid of the vaccination: “But they should think of other people rather than themselves.” She praised the progress of the vaccination campaign. So far, according to official figures, around 18.7 million people in the UK have received a first dose, more than one in three adults.
