Earlier on April 15, the Guangxi Aid Shanghai Medical Team consisting of 295 people arrived in Shanghai to assist in the fight against the new crown pneumonia epidemic.

It is reported that the second batch of medical teams from Guangxi to Shanghai totaled 265 people. Medical staff come from 3 municipal-level medical and health institutions in Nanning and 3 district-level medical and health institutions in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region People’s Hospital, Guangxi Medical University Affiliated Wuming Hospital, and Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Center for Disease Control and Prevention. It is composed of doctors and nurses specializing in department, hospital infection management, and nursing.

According to information provided by China Southern Airlines Guangxi Branch, China Southern Airlines flights CZ5249 and CZ5251 transported the second batch of medical teams from Guangxi to Shanghai on the same day. The flight transported a total of 265 medical team members and 5.6 tons of medical supplies and luggage.
