Oscar winner Gwyneth Paltrow has to appear in court on Tuesday because of a skiing accident responsible in 2016. A 76-year-old retired optometrist accused Paltrow of speeding down the beginner’s slope in Deer Valley where she collided with the man because of her reckless driving. According to his lawyers, the accident was due to their negligence and caused the plaintiff not only physical but also mental suffering.
The 50-year-old then left the plaintiff lying in the snow with a brain injury and four broken ribs and continued driving. The plaintiff originally asked Paltrow for $3.1 million and threatened that if she didn’t pay, he would make sure she got bad press.
