Ham sold in Lidl brands is subject to a recall because of an incorrect expiration date (BBD) of 32 days instead of the 25 authorized days.
Be careful if you recently bought Saint-Alby brand ham from Lidl. The latter is concerned by a product recall because of the dates consumption limits (DLC) notified on erroneous packets. The concerned lot is from “Superior cooked ham cooked on the bone with rind 4 slices conservation without nitrite”, specifies the government website Consumption reminder.
Do not eat it
Use-by dates show 32 days, instead of the statutory 25 days. Several lots are the subject of the recall. These are lots 225 and 230 with barcode number 20466558. Products with the following three DLCs are affected: 09/11/21, 09/14/21 and 09/19/2021. They were sold mainly between the August 16 and August 23, 2021.
Customers are requested to bring the ham back to the store in order to be reimbursed and not to eat the ham.
