Although the dolphins are not included in the film and there is no other relevant evidence other than the weapons on display, the outside world cannot check the accusation, but the military of various countries has been training dolphins and other sea creatures for military missions for decades.
In the 1960s, the U.S. military had ideas about dolphin training programs. The U.S. Navy Marine Mammal Program began during the Vietnam War, training dolphins and sea lions for underwater reconnaissance, port patrols, mine clearance and other military tasks. Although Israel has never disclosed its marine life training program, the outside world generally believes that it will not give up the use of this asset. However, the current obstacle to using marine life to assassinate is that it is difficult to train dolphins to distinguish between friends and foes. Sutton pointed out that if Israel believes that only Hamas frogmen will be active in the target sea area, it may still be willing to risk using dolphins to kill the enemy.
Although countries have been training marine creatures for military missions for many years, public perception and pressure from animal protection groups must be considered. Most of the military keep a low profile on these training programs to avoid being forced to give up this weapon due to political pressure.
