Almost a year after leaving for the United States, Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle have just made a surprising donation to another member of the British monarchy.
Frogmore Cottage had been designed especially for their son Archie. But after the renovation of this residence belonging to the royal family, Prince Harry and his wife have radically changed their plans. They now live in Santa Barbara, United States, in a huge villa, far from British standards. And since they no longer need Frogmore Cottage, whose renovation costs they have reimbursed, they have decided to cede the house to another member of royalty.
Eugenie of York, and her husband Jack Brooksbank, moved into Frogmore Cottage in early November. The house is “a great place to raise a child“, according to a source quoted in the tabloid The Sun. And precisely, the princess and her husband expect their first child for the beginning of the year 2021.
Some observers see this donation as yet another sign that Harry and Meghan will not be returning to live in the UK.
