Daniel Radcliffe and his girlfriend Erin Darke are expecting a happy event, a rep for the Harry Potter movie star told THR.
Daniel Radcliffe is going to be a dad! While photos revealing his companion with a round belly have circulated on the Web, a representative of the actor of Harry Potter confirmed on Saturday to The Hollywood Reporter that Erin Darke was pregnant.
The couple met in 2013 on the set of the film “Kill Your Darlings”, in which Daniel Radcliffe played Allen Ginsberg, and Erin Darke one of the romantic encounters of the famous poet.
The 33-year-old actor, who recently played comedic musician Weird Al Yankovic in the feature film “Weird: The Al Yankovic Story,” later starred alongside his girlfriend again in the “Miracle Workers” series. Erin Darke is also known for her roles in ‘The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’ and ‘Good Girls Revolt’.
A child on film sets
In March 2022, while promoting the film “The Secret of the Lost City” with Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum, Daniel Radcliffe told People that he and Erin Darke were “really happy” together. “I have a really nice life. I’ve been with my girlfriend for a decade or so,” he said.
On fatherhood, which he should therefore know soon, he told Newsweek in 2022 that he would be happy to take his potential future children with him on set, specifying that they would however have to avoid the celebrity side: “ I want my children – if one day I have any – to be around film sets (…) Film sets are wonderful places. I think most of the time it can be wonderful for kids. But it’s really the celebrity side that you have to avoid at all costs.”
