For two years, Cressida Bonas (31) was Prince Harry’s (35) Queen of Hearts. There was even speculation about a possible wedding. Until Bonas left the prince because she could no longer stand the pressure of the public. Now she talks to The Daily Telegraph about what was behind the breakup. The model was afraid of becoming part of the royal family.
«The fear of failure, the fear of rejection, the fear of not doing it right, the fear of not being perfect. I think that limited my life in certain situations, »explains Bonas. She also worried about her image. She didn’t want to be labeled as an eternal “it girl” next to Harry. In the meantime, she had matured and now knew what she wanted. “I am sure that my past has given me a better understanding of what I want and what I don’t want,” said Bonas.
Cressida Bonas doesn’t like to be put in a drawer
Cressida Bonas is now an actress. She can currently be seen in the critically acclaimed “White House Farm” series. She plays the schizophrenic Sheila Caffel, who was the sister of the British mass murderer Jeremy Bamber. “I think I work very hard and I love what I do,” enthuses Bonas. She hoped that she could show that with her role. “I want to look ahead and I don’t like being pigeonholed anyway.”
She has found her luck in another Harry by now. This summer she wanted to marry the British real estate agent Harry Wentworth.
