Daniel Dae Kim will star alongside Tony Goldwyn in the second season of the National Geographic series.
Daniel Dae Kim, who produces “The Good Doctor” and was in front of the camera for “Lost” and “Hawaii Five-0”, takes on the leading role. In addition, “Scandal” and “Lovecraft Country” star Tony Goldwyn will play a leading role. Again six episodes are planned. “Tony and Daniel are both wonderfully versatile and dimensional actors that will add complexity and depth to these characters,” said Carolyn Bernstein, National Geographic executive vice president of scripted and documentary films, in a statement.
In The Hot Zone: Anthrax, Kim will portray Matthew Ryker, an FBI agent specializing in microbiology, while Goldwyn will play Bruce Ivans, a brilliant microbiologist involved in the hunt for the anthrax killer.
