Jeffrey Dahmer’s childhood
It is said that the majority of thugs lived a difficult childhood, and this is what develops their killing instinct, of course, in addition to factors related to the killer’s brain, but Jeffrey’s case confirms that sometimes a thug does not need a motive, and it may be inevitable, inevitable, no matter how hard the parents try.
Jeffrey was born May 21, 1960, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Lionel and Joyce Dahmer. His father was a research chemist, and he was trying to share his passion with his son, as one of the activities they used to do together, was collecting dead animals, dissecting them, dissolving the skin with chemicals, until only the bones remained, and the unusual hobby was not related to the love of blood, Rather, it was exercised out of interest in science. As for his mother, she was suffering from depression and even attempted suicide.
Dahmer was a happy, curious and active child, up until the age of four. The birth of his brother changed everything. He became reclusive as he got older, and his interest in hobbies or social interactions declined as he entered adolescence.
Jeffrey Dahmer was an alcoholic, dropped out of Ohio State University because of his addiction, then joined the army in 1978 and was sent to Germany, but was discharged from the army in 1981 due to drinking problems, to return to Ohio and continue his career.
The birth of “Milwaukee Cannibal” .. eats the victim’s heart and burns the brain
Dahmer’s instinct began to control him at the age of 15, and he always dreamed of choosing a wanderer and controlling him, until he achieved his dream, and his first victim was Stephen Mark Hicks, in 1978 he strangled him and then had sex with his corpse, but unfortunately for Dahmer he joined the army and was sent to Germany , forced to control his instinct, and this was not easy, and after 9 years he returned to his home, unleashed himself, and began to move between gay bars, and in September 1987 he killed his second victim, Stephen Tommy, bringing him to his home, and he was planning to drug him and spend the night With him, he had no intention of harming him, but when he woke up in the morning, he saw Stephen with many fractures, and severe bruises, only to discover that Jeffrey had beaten him to death, not remembering the crime, so he cut his body after having sex with the corpse and threw it in his grandmother’s basement.
He photographed them to remember their wonderful physical beauty and preserve their skeletons, and was planning to build a room with 10 different skulls and skeletons, a kind of memorial where he could collect his thoughts and satisfy his obsession, and was also fascinated by the idea that he could turn his victims into “zombies” to be sexual partners. Submissively, he used many different techniques, such as drilling holes in their skulls, injecting hydrochloric acid or boiling water in their brains, but soon the neighbors began complaining about strange sounds and a foul smell coming from Dahmer’s apartment.
Jeffrey admitted in an interview with a psychiatrist, that he wanted to leave part of the people he killed with him, so he was eating their hearts, at first it was for the purpose of curiosity, but later it became part of his rituals and he could not resist the feeling, and from his other rituals, he offered them money, He takes them to the apartment, gives them a drink and adds sleeping pills, then strangles them, after which he likes to watch Exorcist 3 too to set his mood for murder.
